Paul Allen

Advisory Board & Founding Contributor

Paul Allen is a founding contributor and board member of the Reputation Garage. He is the chairman of Allen & Gerritsen (a&g), a leading independent ad agency based in New England, and a communications leader who is deeply committed to improving the current low state of trust in advertising.

Currently entering its 25th year of business, Paul has mandated that his agency keep up with the way human beings want to communicate and interact because performance-based marketing has always been about the customer, not the brand.

A true brand champion who sees the need to foster real trust in individuals and institutions, Paul believes that in an economy stressed at the core, people are gravitating towards like-minded organizations who show good intentions and who re-affirm their positive self- image. If your brand ends up with a reputation for doing harm, watch out! This is not an environment for mistakes. This thinking reflects Paul’s commitment to the Reputation Garage from its inception. There is no better time in our history to close the “distrust” gap in our relationships, choices and communications.

Paul has been featured in many advertising, business and broadcast forums including B2B Magazine, AdWeek, Ad Age, Bloomberg TV and CNN.

When not sailing or skiing, he lives just west of Boston with his wife, daughter, two dogs and one bearded dragon.
