Jarvis Cromwell brings over 20 years experience as a corporate chief marketing officer, agency executive, management consultant and financial analyst. He founded the Reputation Garage to foster effective new ways for companies to improve trust, achieve influence and advance goals.
Background: Previously a chief marketing officer at places big (Thomson Financial) and small (Storm Exchange). Headed PR for Citigroup’s Transaction Bank across 100 countries. Started out as an analyst at J.P Morgan and moved on to head communications for a unit of the national Episcopal Church. Plus almost a decade as an agency exec for a unit of JWT specializing in corporate reputations. Has lots of war stories, like working with Ted Leavitt at the Harvard Business School (back in the day.) Clients have included Visa, Reuters, John Hancock, Australian Government, Nestle and many others.
Jarvis is a founding member of the CMO Club and participates in various professional associations. He frequently speaks to executive audiences about the performance implications of low public trust and is a co-author of the book: The Chief Marketing Officer: CMOs from the World’s Leading Companies on Building a Team, Setting Goals, and Making a Financial Impact.
A Manhattan native and Jumbo (translation: Tufts grad) Jarvis lives in Connecticut with his wife and children.
